WeCanApp ("we," "us," or "our") operates WeCanApp ("Platform"), a
social media service where users can upload images and videos
("Content") and offer them for licensing to other users for a fee.
This Pricing Policy outlines how pricing, payments, and revenue
sharing work on the Platform. By using the Platform, you agree to
this Pricing Policy, our Terms and Conditions, and our Privacy
Policy.
-
The Platform enables content creators ("Creators") to set a sales
price for licenses to their Content, which other users ("Buyers")
can purchase for personal or commercial use, as specified in the
license terms.
-
Payments are processed securely through Apple Pay or Google Pay,
subject to their respective terms.
-
This Pricing Policy applies to all transactions on the Platform in
the United States and the Philippines.
2. Revenue Sharing
2.1 Creator Earnings
-
Currently, creators receive 50% of the sales price of each license
sold for their Content ("Creator Earnings"). This amount might
change in the future.
-
For example, if a Buyer purchases a license for $10.00, the
Creator currently receives $5.00, subject to any applicable taxes
or deductions.
-
Creators set the sales price for licenses to their Content within
the Platform’s guidelines, which may include minimum and maximum
price limits to ensure fairness and market competitiveness.
-
Prices must be displayed in U.S. dollars (USD) for U.S. users and
Philippine pesos (PHP) for users in the Philippines, with
conversion rates applied at the time of the transaction based on
rates provided by our payment processors.
-
Creators are responsible for ensuring their pricing complies with
applicable laws, including consumer protection regulations in the
U.S. and the Philippines’ Consumer Act of 1992 (RA No. 7394).
4. Payment Processing
4.1 Payment Methods
-
Buyers must use Apple Pay or Google Pay to purchase licenses. All
transactions are subject to the terms and conditions of these
payment processors.
-
Organizers of Family Sharing accounts (where applicable) are
responsible for transactions initiated by family members,
including minors, as per Apple or Google Pay policies.
-
Payment processing fees (charged by Apple Pay or Google Pay) are
deducted from the Company’s 50% share of the sales price. This
amount might change in the future.
-
Buyers may incur additional fees from their financial institution
(e.g., currency conversion fees), which are their responsibility
and not covered by the Company.
-
Creator Earnings are paid out every 46 days, provided the
Creator’s account balance reaches the minimum payout threshold of
$10.00 (USD) or ₱500.00 (PHP).
-
Payouts are made via bank transfer, PayPal, or another method
supported by the Platform, subject to verification of the
Creator’s identity and payment details.
-
Creators are responsible for any fees associated with receiving
payouts (e.g., bank transfer fees), which may be deducted from
their earnings.
-
Creators are responsible for reporting and paying any applicable
taxes on their Creator Earnings, in accordance with U.S. federal
and state tax laws or Philippine tax regulations (e.g., Bureau of
Internal Revenue requirements under the Tax Code).
-
The Company may collect and remit sales taxes or value-added tax
(VAT) on transactions, as required by law in the U.S. or the
Philippines (e.g., 12% VAT under Philippine law).
-
Buyers are responsible for any taxes or duties applicable to their
purchase of licenses, which may be included in the sales price or
charged separately, depending on jurisdiction.
-
Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis, in accordance with
our Terms and Conditions and the policies of Apple Pay or Google
Pay.
-
If a refund is issued, the Creator’s Earnings for that transaction
will be deducted from their account balance or future payouts.
-
The Company may suspend or reverse payments if fraud, abuse, or
unauthorized activity (e.g., uploading prohibited Content) is
detected.
-
Disputes regarding transactions should be reported to us at
admin@wecanapp.com. In the Philippines, users may also file
complaints with the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) for
consumer protection issues.
-
United States: Pricing and payment practices comply with federal
and state consumer protection laws, including the Federal Trade
Commission’s guidelines on transparent pricing and California’s
Automatic Renewal Law for recurring charges (if applicable).
-
Philippines: We adhere to the Consumer Act of 1992 (RA No. 7394)
and the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (RA No. 10173) for transparent
pricing and secure handling of payment data.
-
Creators and Buyers must ensure their pricing and transactions
comply with local tax and consumer laws in their jurisdiction.
